Early battle plan of Nordlingen copperplate engraved. The fought was in 1634 during the Thirty Years' War, on 27 August or 6 September. The Roman Catholic Imperial army, bolstered by 15,000 Spanish soldiers, won a crushing victory over the combined Protestant armies of Sweden and their German-Protestant allies.
Origin; the history of Louis Bourbon, Louis II de Bourbon, 4e prince de Condé, byname the Great Condé, French le Grand Condé, also called duc. He later became one of King Louis XIV’s greatest generals.
