Castle Augsburg.
It is one of the best-preserved Renaissance fortresses in Germany.
Today it is as Ortsteil a part of the city of Weißenburg.
It was converted into a fortress from 1588 to 1605 by George Frederick, Margrave of Brandenburg-Ansbach.

Author: Bodenehr, Gabriel, 1673-1765
Son of Johann Georg Bodenehr (1631-1703) from a family dynasty of engravers and publishers. German engraver and mapmaker of Augsburg.

In 1716 Johann Georg Bodenehr bought the copper plates of Johann Stridbeck, and published them in several editions.
